Photoshop

My Photoshop progression:

Recently I've finally been able to get my hands on Photoshop at school and at home, and let me say I've had an epiphany!!! I seriously love this program and all its capabilities, I finally feel like I can bring my art and photography to another level through my exploration of this program.
I made many collages as a kid with magazines and newspaper, and I feel like I've been handed the big adult version - minus the simplicity of real-life scissors and glue. I am no Photoshop expert... but everyone's gotta start somewhere! I feel comfortable creating in this program and plan to continue.

Fantasy Frame Project:
I wanted to create a garden scene with my favorite elements to the best of my ability: flowers, butterflies, greenery and goddess-like statue! If I could go back and touch up some things I would have found a way to make the cage look more realistic, as well as the statue. I was playing around with textures and drop shadows. Took me at least four 45 minute class times.

My sister's birthday card/Poster:
I wanted to achieve a look as crazy and dynamic as my sister and I's relationship!! We really are an eccentric pair and so I made her a b-day gift to reflect that. Olivia is her name but Oblivia (like oblivion,) is her superhero name if she had one. I discovered gradients and also the sticker/shape palette, and as you can see I HAD TOO MUCH FUN. Simply an experimental and personal project, it took me about 2-3 hours.

Blending:
Simple rainbow and saturation edit. Found out how to add a realistic rainbow. Took me about one class time.

Forest Scene:
Many different elements collided into one scene, same idea as my first project except with a forest. Much more realistic blending techniques and color modification.
